Taking its roots from anthromorphic fables, this installation is a self-portrait that delves in between the multiple symbols associated with the crow. The crow is a powerful, intelligent, and family-oriented bird, yet it is often unfairly linked to dark omens, curses, and death. For me, embodying the crow represents being the challenger, the underdog. It perfectly illustrates the tension between controlling my fate and being a victim of it.
